This time trial runs down highway 82 and ends near the high school in Patagonia, AZ. The scenery is nice this time of year and it was nice to be able to stand by the roadside and enjoy some of it as the racers came by my spot. It was a nice morning, but a mean headwind fired up as the temperature started climbing. The race profile shows that this is a downhill run for the most part, but the headwind wiped out any advantage that gravity provided. As usual, Don Melhado and the Saguaro Velo gang did a good job wrangling all of the necessary things and putting on a good event. *Follow the "find your photos" tab at the top to purchase prints from this event.*

<!– s9ymdb:23 –>

<!– s9ymdb:23 –>

Local architect and TBC race promoter Steve Bohn hammers down the highway against a mean headwind.
